2010 NBA MVP Prediction - LeBron James
LeBron is no doubt the favorite to win this years NBA MVP is LeBron James. King James is a star across the NBA, recognized by even the smallest NBA fans. LeBron is averaging just under 30 points per game at 29.7, with over 7 rebounds and over 8 assists per game. LeBron has lead his to a 6 game lead for first in the Eastern Conference as I write this article. Not only is LeBron one of the most skilled NBA players in the game, he is a great leader too. Look for LeBron to be named MVP again, making it the first back to back winner since Steve Nash in 05 and 06.
Runner Up 2010 NBA MVP Predictions - Kevin Durrant, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade
Kevin Durrant from the Oklahoma City Thunder deserves a serious look here at the MVP award, putting up the same 29.7 points per game as LeBron has put up so far this year. Durrant has lead the Thunder to a 42-27 record, where many people had predicted them around the .500 mark for this 2010 NBA season. He deserves a serious look, and I think the NBA will give it to him.
Kobe Bryant is in the running for the NBA MVP award in this 2010 season, which is probably something that most people figured. Bryant has continued to impress putting up 27.6 points per game along with 5 assists per game, but has not played up to the level he can play all season. I don't see Kobe winning the MVP award this year, but he will of course be taken into consideration.
Dwayne Wade doesn't look like hes really in the running for the MVP award this year averaging 26.5 points along with 6.6 assists per game. His Miami Heat team only sites 3 games above .500 and probably won't be able to do much in the playoffs. Wade doesn't have the type of quality teammates that others on this MVP list do, which is unfortunate because he may have the most talent of the group.
